She was the recipient of the 2008 Clackamas Community College Writing Contest Award in Poetry, and was also recipient of the Binford Writing Award at Marlyhurst University. Her poetry has appeared in a small handful of literary journals, and she is the author of the chapbook, Trepanning for Gold (2009). She lives in Oregon City, Oregon, with her husband, son &amp; English bulldog.</p>
<p>We are looking for poets, story tellers, and acoustic musicians to perform. Bring your poems, stories, songs and very short fiction (under 1200 words) about rejection, break ups, lonely hearts, independence, and twisted love. If you don’t have anything on the subject, don’t worry, we won’t turn you away (just no goo-goo-eyed, luv-struck crap, okay?).</p>
