Join us for an evening of poetry and prose at Eat.Art.Theater, Milepost 5’s fine café and performance venue. Readings @ Milepost 5 is on the second Tuesday of every month. Beginning at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, December 13, featured readers will be Jodie Marion and George Rachel Marie. They will be followed by an open mic.
George Rachel Marie works as a writer, print artist, and mentor for women recovering from domestic traumas. She is a student of literature and social philosophy at Marylhurst University, where she received the Jackie Mosier Emerging Writer Award. Past work can be viewed in the journal Habit 2011, as well as the online journal M Review. Her current collection uses poetry, fragmented narrative and theoretical inquiry to explore the limits of language, memory and identity.
